Based in NYC, Quant Solutions offers small businesses full-service, long-term financial operations, and cash-management advisory services. Quant Solutions is not your typical booking/accounting firm! As a professional services firm, we offer customized accounting support for our clients. We provide consultation first in order to custom-design a plan to fit each client’s specific needs. We then follow it up with ongoing advisory services to help keep you on track as your company grows.

Specializing in the creative industries, our current client list includes everything from wholesale/e-commerce companies to landscape designers, to progressive non-profits, and independent filmmakers.


Accounting Manager

The nature of this role balances consulting and advisory skills with execution of day-to-day accounting needs. Primarily striking a balance between maintaining positive client relationships and executing the functions necessary to keep their books and back office running smoothly.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to our clients
  • Proactively identify client issues, communicate and implement timely solutions
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives by gaining an in-depth understanding of their business objectives and management needs.
  • Team Management – work directly with Quant Solutions team members in a cloud-based environment to balance workflow by aligning client’s needs with team member expertise and capacity
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with clients while performing within established processes and budget parameters.
  • Executing processes related to forecast short-term cash flow/needs, accounts payable and accounts receivable management, bookkeeping entries, closing the books monthly as well as preparing financial reporting and analysis. May also include payroll, HR administration, and special projects as assigned.
  • Experience fixing things! Designing/improving accounting processes such as: monthly close, management and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, shared services or application outsourcing and system implementations


  • BS in business/accounting
  • Prior industry experience has executed financial operations, etc.
  • Track record of managing multiple, complex projects at the same time.
  • Excellent work ethic and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. We want someone with the capability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members without needing to be hand-held or requiring supervision.
  • Strong writer and communicator, excellent listener, and comfortable interacting with multiple clients on a regular basis.
  • Smart, creative thinker and problem-solver, fast learner, with demonstrated initiative.
  • Experience in Quickbooks is required.
  • Advanced Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Project Management, database management, and strong technical experience are a big plus
